Dzień 17/30: #USAchallenge
Did you know what is the most popular national park in the USA? 🙂
No, it’s not the Grand Canyon! 🙂
All Mac users must know… 😉 it’s Yosemite National Park!
The park is simply magnetic. I know for sure it’s one of the places in the States I definitely want to go back to!!! No, it’s not similar to our Polish Tatras (as I have heard from some people). First of all, the elevation is different (over 3000 meters above sea level (9945 feet) so you even breathe in a different way. I am sure I will write another post about Yosemite! 🙂
In Yosemite you must watch out for.. bears!
You can park your car at a lake to have a swim (this is one of the greatest things out there: you CAN swim in a crystal clear lake in a national park!) & a picnic for a little while but you are still obliged to store all food you have (and anything with a scent of food!) in special lockers located in all car parks.
locker (pronunciation) – a cupboard, often made of metal, in which you can keep your possessions, and leave them for a period of time – szafka
I spent a few days in Yosemite and didn’t see any wild animal. Still, you have to be careful.
Storing food in those special cupboards is very important and I saw many people obey these rules. Good for the bears! I guess the worst thing people could do would be to give them food.
